Senior Manager Marketing Campaigns & Messaging for Joint Reconstruction

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Senior Manager Marketing Campaigns & Messaging for Joint Reconstruction located in Warsaw, IN, West Chester, PA, Raynham, MA, or Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This role will report into the Joint Reconstruction Marketing Services Team.

This strategic leadership role is responsible for developing joint reconstruction marketing campaign strategies, messaging frameworks, and content plans. The individual serves as the critical bridge between Platform Marketing and Marketing Services, ensuring product strategies, value propositions, clinical evidence, and customer insights are transformed into clear, compelling, and consistent campaigns across the Joint Reconstruction portfolio.

The Senior Manager will lead campaign planning, messaging architecture, content strategy, agency collaboration, and campaign governance while partnering closely with Product Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Communications. This Senior Manager will lead a team for graphic design, copy approval and content creation.

Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy Leadership

  • Lead development of integrated marketing campaign strategies aligned with commercial, marketing, and business objectives.
  • Build annual and launch-specific campaign roadmaps supporting portfolio priorities and growth initiatives.
  • Translate product strategy, customer insights, and market opportunities into customer-focused marketing plans.
  • Identify opportunities to create connected campaigns across customer segments, procedures, technologies, and care settings.
  • Establish campaign governance, planning processes, and performance measurement standards.

Marketing Messaging & Content Strategy

  • Own the development of messaging frameworks, campaign narratives, value propositions, and storytelling strategies.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across all customer touchpoints, channels, and stakeholder audiences.
  • Partner with platform marketing teams to evolve product positioning into market-ready customer communications.
  • Guide development of claims-based content strategies leveraging clinical evidence and customer insights.

Campaign Development & Content Planning

  • Partner with marketing services teams to determine content requirements across digital, social, web, industry meetings, and field communications channels.
  • Guide prioritization of campaign investments and resources.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10-12+ years of progressive experience in marketing, campaign strategy, communications, product marketing, or related commercial functions.
  • Demonstrated experience developing integrated marketing campaigns in a healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environment.
  • Experience leading messaging, positioning, and content strategy initiatives.
  • Strong strategic planning and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across matrixed organizations.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, and external partners.
  • Orthopaedics or Joint Reconstruction experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting surgeon, healthcare professional, ASC, or healthcare system customer segments.
  • Knowledge of healthcare advertising, promotional review, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience leading product launch campaigns and omnichannel engagement programs.
  • Experience using customer insights and marketing analytics to guide decision making.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone Orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
