As part of TD's Marketing department, the North American Growth Marketing team is responsible for leading our digital marketing and 1:1 Marketing.The team carries the mandate to build the digital marketing ecosystem and enable personalized 1:1 communications at all interactions with our customers.

Job Description

TD is looking for new ways to go to market faster and optimize customer experiences. The TD Salesforce COE will play a critical role in the transformation and modernization of owned-digital channel marketing for the enterprise, bringing together consultation and tactical subject matter expertise in 1:1 marketing best practices. As a key member of Salesforce COE, the SF Campaign Manager will work closely with key partners across Marketing & Business Units to lead the well managed delivery of journey orchestration campaigns and initiatives in the Salesforce ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Integrated Marketing to design, streamline and optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) journeys, including building and filtering audiences in Salesforce CDC.

  • Build and deploy marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud utilizing Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Journey Builder, thus including development of journeys, template setup, list management, form creations, A/B testing and automated triggers.

  • Design and execute cross-channel SFMC campaigns / journeys based on Marketer requirements.

  • Lead the configuration of audience entry source, exit criteria, re-entry criteria based on campaign goals, structures Journey decision splits

  • Oversee journey planning and execution including technical reviews and quality control.

  • Build and maintain modular campaign template(s) that are responsive and incorporate brand standards and best practices.

  • Perform QA testing to ensure segmented audiences and content are accurate and rendering properly on different devices.

  • Manage and segment audience data using the various Marketing Cloud tools (audience builder, data extensions, API, filters, queries, etc.).

  • Troubleshoot campaign development issues including template rendering, accurate links, accessibility, subscriber lookup, etc.).

  • Leverages SFMC tools and scripting languages to update content and enable dynamic content/personalization.

  • Build highly dynamic campaigns using HTML and AMPscript.

  • Provide guidance and train specialists on basic SFMC capabilities and deployment best practices.

  • Bring expertise in personalization and marketing automation around dynamic email content and segmentation rules to customize marketing campaigns

  • Participate in campaign optimization sessions and support analysis of campaign performance

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams achieve campaign objectives in the stated timelines

  • Utilize strong project management skills to drive initiatives from conception to completion within established timelines

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years of Salesforce and marketing automation experience.

  • Minimum 3+ years of Campaign Management and Delivery experience with segmentation strategy

  • Solid CRM experience and understanding of marketing campaign concepts and best practices

  • Solid experience owning multi-audience campaigns, and extensive usage of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) required, inclusive of Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Data Extensions,

  • Proficient in AMPscript, HTML/CSS, and dynamic content scripting for email customization.

  • Experience creating dynamic and personalized marketing campaigns using AMPscript and SQL expertise, building automations for marketing, analysis, and system maintenance using SQL knowledge, maintaining and optimizing SFMC for peak performance and data integrity.

  • Strong knowledge of CASL and other regulatory frameworks applicable to email marketing in Canada.

  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control in execution and deployment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of journey orchestration experience in Financial Services or other regulated industry

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications: Administrator, Developer, and/or Email Specialist

  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment with a track record of effectively working autonomously and navigating ambiguity

  • Knowledge of Inline CSS, Embedded CSS, External CSS, and AMPScript + CSS to work in SFMC
