Camp Curiosity is located on a 50+ acre farm in Doylestown, PA. We offer programs for campers aged Preschool - Kindergarten in our younger camp programs, Grades 1 - 6 in our older camp programs, and Grades 7 - 9 in our CIT program. Camp Curiosity is home of Curiosity Academy, Curiosity Shoppe, Toddler Center, & Doylestown Pickleball.

Camp Curiosity offers a fun spin on the traditional camp experience that allows campers to engage in a variety of activities focused on our four core areas: DISCOVER, EXPLORE, INVENT, and CREATE.

Camp Curiosity is looking for energetic, team-oriented Camp Counselors to join our 2026 summer camp team! As a Camp Counselor, you'll be part of a team that inspires confidence, friendship, and creativity every day. If you love working with children and want a rewarding, high-energy summer job, we want to hear from you!

Summer Camp 2026 Season: June 15, 2026 - August 14, 2026 (9 weeks)

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:45am - 5:15pm (Shifts assigned upon hire)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise children ages 2 to 13 in age-based groups, ensuring appropriate staff-to-child ratios are maintained.
  • Guide your assigned group between activities according to the groups weekly schedule.
  • Organize and lead a variety of small and large group activities each week.  
  • Engage campers and maintain a positive, fun environment.
  • Actively participate in all camp activities, including swimming and special events/guests. 
  • Support campers with positive behavior guidance and communicate any concerns to leadership.
  • Share camp highlights and camper experiences with parents. 
  • Keep camp areas safe, clean, and organized. 
  • Know and follow all emergency procedures and safety guidelines. 
  • Mentor Junior Camp Counselors.
  • Be flexible and jump in wherever needed.

Qualifications
  • Ability to attend staff training (evenings week of June 8th).
  • Ability to work at least 7 out of 9 camp weeks.
  • Must be at least 18 yrs old.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience working with children preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team. 
  • Strong planning, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to obtain Background Clearances, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearances, and Mandated Reporter Training (will change with regulations).
Additional Information

Camp Curiosity will conduct summer camp training sessions during evening hours June 8 - June 11. Finalized dates and times will be confirmed and communicated to hired staff.

Camp Curiosity will be hosting a CPR and Lifeguard Certification class in June 2026, dates TBD.
