Summary of Position
The Site Representative enrolls students in the college programs at Camp Pendleton, CA. Collects tuition and fees in accordance with school policy. Creates, maintains, and updates student records. Provides educational information and counseling to all eligible students on program requirements, admissions and withdrawal policies.
Education and Experience
High School/GED with a minimum of 12 credit hours from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education required with three years of full-time wage earning administrative or clerical experience
OR
Associates degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education and two years of full-time wage earning experience in administrative or clerical field.
Applicant must reside near Camp Pendleton.
Knowledge Skills and Ability
  • Experience with a military education center preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated data entry and word processing skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to proofread and verify reports with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to interact effectively with the public and with all levels of employees and Education Center staff.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information.
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.

Essential Functions
  • Enrolls students in the college programs. Collect tuition and fees in accordance with school policy. Use the school's computer software to load classes, register students, and document accounts receivable financials to include third party billing.
  • Provides educational advisory assistance to students to include program requirements, admission/withdrawal policies, directions about times, dates and locations of classes, etc.
  • Registers and tracks students for onsite and distance learning registrations.
  • Maintains accurate student records, submits completed class documentation and assists in tracking incomplete student grades.
  • Processes correspondence, reports, and other documentation as required.
  • Distributes publicity, flyers, schedules information and program brochures.
  • Updates and posts new information on class schedules, personnel rosters and telephone rosters.
  • Participates in education fairs, orientation and in service training sessions relevant to assigned position.
  • Assists in graduation preparation including tracking of applications and ordering of gowns, diploma covers, and invitations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Site Director
