The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to leverage your DevOps and Platform Engineering expertise in a high impact role? Booz Allen is building next generation of products in Cybersecurity. We're modernizing systems with Artificial Intelligence and building greenfield capability from the ground up. We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the team - You'll help deploy and operate secure, reliable, and highly available software in Cloud environments.
You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to translate business and development team requirements into automated platform solutions. You'll be responsible for working with DevOps and Platform engineers and Developers to deploy and operate secure, reliable, available applications from pilots to mission critical production systems. You should have expertise in Cloud, Networking, Containers and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. You should have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently while collaborating with others, and work in a fast-paced, Agile environment. You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience with deploying Cloud and Kubernetes systems in production environments
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS, and IAM or Networking
  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and developer workflow automation, such as GitHub Actions, Nexus, or Artifactory
  • 3+ years of experience with containers, such as AWS EKS, Helm, Argo CD, or Flux CD
  • Experience with IaC, such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
  • Experience troubleshooting platform application deployments and configurations
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with AWS S3, SQS or SNS, RDS, DynamoDB, KMS, Secrets Manager, ELB or ALB, and Bedrock
  • Experience with Istio, Keycloak, Prometheus, and Grafana
  • Experience with SQL, including Postgres or SQL Server
  • Experience with vulnerability, Cloud security posture, static code analysis, and container scanning tools

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
