Job description

We are seeking Bilingual Laboratory Technician Candidates for our client in Davie FL. to provide support by assisting Chemists during production in the Production Laboratory.

  • Salary: $17 - $18/HR
  • Monday- Friday 8:30am-5pm

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Complies with all cGLP/GMP and safety requirements, laboratory SOP’s and Company polices
  • Complies with good housekeeping and safety practices; washes glassware and ensures leanliness of testing equipment
  • Receives laboratory supplies and chemicals and maintains inventory control
  • Performs USP physical testing and/or environmental monitoring of controlled production areas
  • Prepares and maintains volumetric tests and solutions
  • Maintains appropriate documentation (records and lab notebooks) as required by SOP and cGLP
  • Receives, distributes and controls laboratory samples
  • Prepares and tracks purchase orders the materials required by laboratory
  • Performs related duties as assigned
  • Assists in transporting sample boxes to and from warehouse
  • Other duties assigned by the immediate Supervisor

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Basic math skills
  • Knowledge in GMPs and Safety Laboratory practices preferred
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) 
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain reasonably regular attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Standing , walking to other departments. Able to lift up to 50 lb.
