About our Health Center Manager 2 position
Under the general supervision of the Area Services Director, provides supervision to staff, oversees the proper functioning of daily operations of the health center, responsible for operations of assigned facility, including budgetary and productivity goals, and monitors compliance with health center productivity and budgetary goals, and incorporates those functions into the overall operations of the agency.
What will you be doing!
Supervising, training, coaching, evaluating, and hiring health center staff. Providing direct patient care; monitoring quality of care and services; providing input and recommendations for planning changes in procedures, protocols, and services; maintains efficient health center flow; maintains staff schedules; develops appointment schedules; monitors and adjusts appointment schedules for efficient health center flow and failed health center rates.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing community outreach and networks with community agencies to increase PPGNHAIK visibility and educate about PPGNHAIK services and contributes to the team efforts of the agency thereby ensuring quality care and service for clients.
  • Maintaining efficient, patient-centered health center services by organizing office operations and procedures; preparing payroll; evaluating and recommending systems improvements; implementing and ensuring staff compliance with changes in procedures, protocols, and services; reviews and approves supply requisitions; assisting monitors front and back-office functions.
  • Maintaining health center staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training staff; selecting licensed medical staff done in coordination with Director (or Assistant) Director of Clinician Services.
  • Maintaining positive and productive health center staff results by monitoring, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, and appraising job results.
  • Monitoring and evaluating staff job performance and initiating disciplinary action as needed, in consultation with Human Resources. Monitors and evaluates licensed staff (RN, PA, NP) in conjunction with Director of Clinician Services or Assistant Director of Clinician Services.
  • Serving as a resource to staff on personnel and health center operations matters must be knowledgeable and compliant with union contract.
  • Maintaining efficient health center flow by planning and implementing patient staff scheduling that minimizes patient wait times.
  • Completes operational requirements by developing patient and staff schedules, following up on work results.
  • Maintaining positive staff morale and is client-driven to both internal and external customers. Plans and facilitate staff meetings with feedback from the clinician team.
  • Ensuring that staff are kept informed of procedures and policy changes and other vital information regarding services or activities agency wide.
  • Monitoring quality of care and services provided by the staff following Q1 guidelines for audits of follow-up, chart audits, and completion of laboratory compliance reports.
  • Ensuring completion of all weekly, monthly, and quarterly health center reports.
  • Achieving financial objectives by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action.
  • Facilitating health center operations by problem solving with staff, Area Services Director, Director (or Assistant) of Clinician Services, and all departments within administration that provide support to Clinician services operations.

Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in related field preferred.
3 years of supervisory or management training and experience required or equivalent.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Patient Data software and EMR experience preferred.
Salary Range:
$76,091 - $126,818 annually
