We are looking for a customer-focused Call Center Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This fully onsite role supports customers by answering a high volume of inbound calls, providing clear guidance, and resolving issues with care and attention to detail. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, comfort with office technology, and a dependable approach to daily teamwork.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a steady flow of inbound customer calls each day, delivering timely and detail-oriented support.
• Explain products, services, and next steps so customers feel informed and confident in their interactions.
• Investigate customer concerns, identify practical solutions, and follow through to ensure resolution.
• Record call details, service updates, and customer interactions accurately within company systems.
• Work closely with coworkers and internal teams to address service needs and maintain a smooth customer experience.
• Use Microsoft Office tools and a dual-monitor setup to navigate information efficiently while assisting callers.
• Adapt to changing priorities, procedures, or system-related updates while maintaining service quality.
• Contribute to a positive onsite team environment by helping colleagues and supporting shared goals.

• Previous experience in a call center or customer service role handling incoming calls.

• Strong ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and patiently with a wide range of customers.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and confidence working across multiple screens.

• Experience documenting interactions and using customer service or call tracking software.

• Dependable attendance and the ability to work onsite in Scarborough, Maine Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

• A collaborative attitude, solid work ethic, and willingness to assist team members when needed.

• Mechanical aptitude or basic familiarity with power tools, electrical systems, or plumbing is preferred.
