Location: New Hope, MN (On-Site)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a compassionate and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our Hospice Call Center team. If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and excel at providing exceptional service over the phone, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative in our Hospice Call Center, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and hospice partners. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide compassionate service while managing a high volume of inbound calls related to medical equipment and patient needs.
Previous experience in medical terminology, healthcare, medical billing, or insurance is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls from patients, caregivers, healthcare facilities, and hospice partners.
  • Assist customers with questions regarding Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
  • Provide information regarding product usage, orders, and insurance coverage.
  • Create and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Finalize orders and submit required documentation to the billing department.
  • Communicate professionally via phone, fax, and email.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through responsive and compassionate service.
  • Meet daily call volume and performance expectations.
  • Accurately document customer interactions and order details.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely fulfillment of patient needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Medical terminology, healthcare, insurance verification, or medical billing experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to meet daily call volume expectations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional phone etiquette and customer service abilities.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously.

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
Physical Requirements
This position may require:
