Job description

Licensed Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We're hiring a licensed occupational therapist for a full-time role with a hospital client in Grants, NM. Your skills will support patients in inpatient and outpatient settings on their journey to healing and independence.

Minimum Requirements
  • Master's degree in occupational therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program. Completion of level I and level II supervised fieldwork.
  • Passing the NBCOT exam and active OTR credential.
  • Application for New Mexico occupational therapy license through the NM Regulation & Licensing Department required prior to or at start as specified by client.
  • BLS/CPR certification from AHA or ARC.
  • Minimum 2 years acute care experience preferred for higher-acuity units such as ICU, trauma, or neuro.
  • Experience with ADLs and mobility training and familiarity with hospital equipment including lifts, splints, and adaptive devices.
  • Strong documentation skills and experience using EMR systems.
  • Willingness to work days with typical schedule of five 8-hour shifts plus on-call responsibilities.
