Cake Decorator
Description
A Cake Decorator at Carlie C's IGA understands that providing prompt and friendly customer service is the top priority. Courtesy and cooperation with both customers and coworkers are essential to maximizing sales and supporting long-term business growth. This position carries the exciting challenge of creating every cake sold in our store. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to crafting cakes that are as visually appealing as they are delicious.
Duties
  • Bake and Decorate Cakes.
  • Use scales and printer, understand tare weight.
  • Use and sharpen meat/cheese slicer.
  • Use chicken fryer, monitor grease.
  • Make meals for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
  • Understand portion control
  • Monitor food temperature requirements.
  • Operate oven, proof box.
  • Keep sales area full, and rotated.
  • Clean and sanitized area.
  • Work in refrigerated areas.
  • Maintain Carlie C's Uniform Standards
  • Any and all other daily operational duties as directed by Deli/Bakery Manager.

Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age, friendly and outgoing. *Neat and clean in appearance.
  • Must enjoy working with the public.
  • Must be able to follow instructions.
  • Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, 30lbs.
  • Experience a plus
