Job description

Annual Salary: $88,753.60 min. - $128,689.60 max.



Reporting to the Application Services Manager, this position is responsible for defining customer requirements, developing functional application specifications, systems design criteria, and end-user education pertaining to the Hospital Information Systems. This position manages and drives information system design projects throughout the implementation life cycle from initial analysis and design all the way through to implementation, user acceptance, and post implementation support. Serves as the primary liaison between RCH IS team and other technical teams, functional teams, and vendors. This position also provides ongoing development, maintenance of software as specified and required by the organization and handles customer requests and needs in an efficient manner. Strong customer service skills and attitude, and patient care advocacy are mandatory. As an analyst, coordinates communications and tasks with IS Team Members, clients, and vendors supplying various software applications.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:


  1. Bachelor Degree in a Relevant Area required.
  2. Minimum 5 year of experience implementing and supporting Healthcare Information Systems required.
  3. Experience successfully leading high-visibility healthcare projects and enterprise-level initiatives required.
  4. Experience documenting business and information system requirements applicable to a health care delivery organization required.
  5. Experience applying project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools, including development of project plans and document project meetings and status required.
  6. HL7, ANSI X12, EDI, and Interface Engine experience required.
  7. Experience developing and presenting business analyses and plans required.

  1. CAHIMS, CPHIMS, ITIL, CAPM, PMP Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CAHIMS), Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS), IT Infrastructure Library, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
