Café Manager
The Campus - Chester County
Café Manager - $22-$25/hr | Part-Time Leadership Role
The Campus Chester County is seeking a Café Manager to oversee daily operations of our rink café, including food preparation, inventory management, staff supervision, and customer service.
Schedule:
25-30 hours per week

Position Summary
The Café Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the rink café, ensuring high-quality food service, excellent customer experiences, and compliance with all health and safety standards. This role includes food preparation, staff supervision, inventory management, ordering supplies, and supporting café operations for events, parties, and Summer Camp programs.
The Café Manager plays a key leadership role in keeping the café running efficiently, safely, and profitably while creating a welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities
Food Production & Guest Service
  • Prepare menu items using fryer, flat-top grill, outdoor grill, and oven
  • Assist customers at the register and provide excellent service
  • Upsell menu items and maintain a welcoming café environment
  • Handle cash and reconcile register balances at the end of shifts
  • Assist with food preparation, serving, and restocking as needed

Cleaning, Safety & Health Department Compliance
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all café and food prep areas
  • Ensure all procedures meet Health Department regulations
  • Maintain food safety documentation and inspection records

Inventory & Ordering
  • Order and maintain inventory of food, beverages, and café supplies
  • Manage supplies for café operations, party catering, and Summer Camp programs
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain tracking systems
  • Receive and properly store deliveries according to food safety standards
  • Plan inventory needs for busy seasons, events, and programs

Administrative & Operational Duties
  • Maintain inventory logs, ordering records, and operational spreadsheets
  • Process invoices and monitor café expenses within budget
  • Assist with menu planning and cost control
  • Develop procedures that improve café efficiency and operations
  • Cafe staff scheduling

Schedule & Availability
  • Part-time position (25-30 hours per week)
  • Must be available 2-3 weekday evenings
  • Required weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday)
  • Must support food service during Summer Camp operations

Qualifications
