Job description

Albany Medical College is seeking a fellowship-trained Rhinologist to join the Department of Otolaryngology. This role offers the chance to step into a high-volume clinical practice alongside a busy, well-established Rhinologist who is respected throughout the region.

You'll work with a wide range of advanced sinus and skull base cases. The department has a strong, long-standing partnership with Neurosurgery, creating steady opportunities for collaborative endoscopic skull base surgery. If interested, there's also room to grow an allergy practice.

As a teaching hospital, Albany Med offers a rich academic environment. The department hosts a highly regarded annual sinus course supported by a nationally recognized cadaver lab. You'll also have access to a modern simulation center for training and education.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing complex sinonasal and anterior skull base conditions
  • Performing advanced endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery
  • Collaborating closely with Neurosurgery and other subspecialties
  • Teaching residents and medical students
  • Opportunities to participate in research and other scholarly activity
  • Optional development of an allergy practice

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO or equivalent with board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology
  • Completion of an accredited Rhinology fellowship
  • Eligibility for an active and unrestricted New York State medical license
