Job description

This is a Cactus Wellhead position and is located in Houston, TX.ย 

Job Summary:ย  ย ย Responsible for preparing basic level SolidWorks drawings, assembly, parts and complete dimensional data and technical documentation.

Essential Functions, Roles, and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

  • Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.
  • Develop and/or modify SolidWorks models for assemblies, parts and drawings as directed by Engineering personnel.
  • Ensure that assignments meet Engineering standards and performance requirements.
  • Prepare technical documentation including bill of materials (EPS), standards/procedure illustrations and Engineering change notice.
  • Develop illustrations for Engineering technical documentation such as assembly procedures and Operation Maintenance Manuals.
  • Assist in the testing, as required, and production of test reports of products.
  • Consult with engineering groups on equipment designs and questions.

Education, Training, Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: ย None required.

Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Knowledge and use of ANSI, ASME and ISO Drafting Techniques and Geometric Tolerance and Development and Control of Design Documentation
  • Intermediate Computer Skills
  • Intermediate Language Skills, Intermediate Mathematical Skills and Basic Reasoning Ability
