Description
We are seeking a Cable Technician to become an integral part of our team supporting our government customers across the US. You will design and configure data communication systems, install wireless access points as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. This position will be based out of the DC/MD/VA region but will travel frequently throughout the country.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise installation and maintenance of APs.
  • Pull and terminate cat 5/cat 6 cables throughout a sizeable environment.
  • Investigate customer issues and design appropriate solutions.
  • Follow the direction of the Tech III and IVs.
  • Order and maintain inventory stock supplies

Requirements
  • Previous experience in telecommunications, electrical engineering, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with telecommunications equipment
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to Travel often.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (clearance not required prior to hire).

  • Base pay is flexible depending on experience but the target range is $20-$30/hr.
