We are actively recruiting an energetic, high-potential Fiber Assembler Associate to join our growing team. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual with the ability to work well independently and as part of a collaborative team. As a Fiber Assembler Associate, you will be responsible for assemblies to specifications and quality requirements to prepare cables. This is a full time, first shift position. Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.
Responsibilities of the Fiber Assembler Associate Include:
  • Prepare, terminate, polish and test fiber cable assemblies according to customer specifications.
  • Prepare different types of cables: armored and non-armored cables, outside plant cables, loose tube, tight buffer micro distribution and others per customer's request.
  • Polish and test a variety of fiber connectors: LC, LC/APC, SC/SCAPC, ST, MTP/MPO, MTRJ, F.
  • Ability to read and understand customer's technical drawings.
  • Read, interpret, and follow detailed written work orders.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience:
  • 1-3+ years related assembling experience in manufacturing
  • Hands on experience in assembly of electro -mechanical products, preferably connector or cable assemblies
