Job description

Velocity Bridge Coordinator
JG Custom Cabinetry & Design
Fox Cities / Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Help Us Build the Fastest Cabinetry Sales & Operations System in the Region

JG Custom Cabinetry & Design is growing and looking for a highly capable Velocity Bridge Coordinator to help move projects efficiently from sales to operations.
This role exists for one purpose:
  • Protect speed, accuracy, and momentum in our company.
  • Salespeople should be selling.
  • Operations should be building.
  • The Velocity Bridge ensures every project moves smoothly between those two worlds.

If you enjoy organization, jobsite work, solving problems, and keeping projects moving quickly and accurately, this is a unique and important role within our company.
What You’ll Do:
The Velocity Bridge Coordinator ensures that projects move quickly and accurately from sale → measurement → engineering → production.
Your responsibilities include:
Field Measurements & Site Verification
Visit job sites to:
  • Take and confirm final measurements
  • Verify cabinetry layouts
  • Confirm appliance clearances and site conditions
  • Identify any potential conflicts before engineering begins and input into our computer software for finalization.
  • You must be comfortable evaluating how cabinetry will actually fit in a space, not just reading drawings.
Sales → Operations Handoff
Ensure every project entering engineering is complete and accurate.
You will confirm details such as:
  • Cabinet line and specifications
  • Door styles and finishes
  • Overlay types
  • Hardware selections
  • Appliance details
  • Installation considerations
  • Accessories and options
  • Your job is to make sure engineering receives clean, complete information so projects move forward quickly.
Project Documentation & Systems Entry:
You will gather information from the field and enter it into our systems.
This requires strong computer proficiency and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Experience with cabinetry software such as:
  • 2020 Design
  • Mosaic is highly desirable.
Even if you haven’t used these specific platforms, you must be very comfortable learning and using new software tools.
Order Coordination:
Assist with preparing projects for ordering and production by:
  • Organizing job information
  • Preparing order packets
  • Coordinating missing details with the sales team
  • Tracking project status
What We’re Looking For:
This role requires a unique mix of field experience, technical understanding, and organizational ability.
Ideal candidates will have:
  • Experience measuring cabinetry or construction spaces
  • Strong understanding of layouts and how cabinetry fits in real spaces
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High comfort level with computers and software systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in cabinetry, remodeling, construction, or interior layout work is strongly preferred.

Critical Requirement:
This position requires travel to customer homes and job sites.
Applicants must have:
  • A valid driver’s license
  • A clean driving record
  • The ability to be insured under our company insurance policy
  • This requirement is mandatory for this role.

Work Environment:
This is a dynamic role involving a mix of:
  • Office work
  • Field measurements
  • Collaboration with sales and operations
  • The pace is fast, and attention to detail matters.
  • You will work closely with the owner and team to ensure projects move through the system quickly and accurately.
Why This Role Matters:
Many companies slow down because salespeople become buried in operational tasks.
At JG Custom Cabinetry & Design, we believe in protecting sales velocity and operational clarity.
The Velocity Bridge plays a key role in helping us grow efficiently while maintaining high standards for our customers.

Compensation:
Compensation will be competitive and based on experience.
Performance-based incentives may also be available tied to:
  • Speed of project processing
  • Accuracy
  • Operational efficiency

About JG Custom Cabinetry & Design:
JG Custom Cabinetry & Design has served the Fox Cities area for over 20 years and is entering an exciting phase of growth.
We are building a modern cabinetry company focused on:
  • Strong sales momentum
  • Operational excellence
  • High-quality craftsmanship
  • Exceptional customer experience
This role will be an important part of helping us scale successfully.
