Job Summary

Castalia Systems is seeking a Microsoft Enclave Administrator (Azure Operations Systems Administrator) Expert to join our team in support of an exciting opportunity supporting our intelligence community customer. As part of the Castalia Systems team, you will have an opportunity to leverage your technical skills supporting a variety of customer enclaves in the Azure environment to include supporting the enclave infrastructure to the customer applications and everything in between

Roles and Responsibilities

A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate closely with Microsoft Account Delivery Executive and/or Microsoft Project Manager as the Microsoft advocate and sole or shared technical lead.
  • Enable development, analysis, deployment, and/or solution to remain on schedule and in line with the current capabilities and future directions of Microsoft products.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions with ISD technical project lead(s) and customer staff.
  • Participate in delivering technical presentations to customer staff.
  • Serve as the technical project lead.
  • Analyze technical requirements and develop effective technical solutions.
  • Lead role in conceiving architectural designs.
  • Lead role in current environment assessment.
  • System health monitoring include Azure Solution System Health, Program Application availability, Capacity Management, and Azure Consumption Rates.
  • Operational System Management (trouble tickets) input, re-route, field, and escalate as appropriate.
  • Conduct appropriate troubleshooting and remediation activities to include coordinating with System Owners, Product Team, and Migration Team for issues and coordinating with the appropriate team and/or personnel.
  • Escalate to the appropriate Microsoft team in the case where additional privileges/permissions/clearance are required.
  • Complete regular maintenance on all systems / applications.
  • This includes regular patching and vulnerability remediation and addressing end of service/end of life replacements.
  • Complete approved configuration updates/changes and escalate where required if high-level architectural updates are needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or industry equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in related technology.
  • Experience in one or more of the following topics such as cloud technologies, data, AI, security, complex networks, IAAS, PAAS, SASS, cross-platform integration and large-scale, complex systems and business applications design and implementation.
  • This individual will have been trained in one or more of the following areas:
  • Microsoft and/or Industry delivery frameworks, product features and relevant Certified Training associated with Microsoft products.
  • Must have expert level systems administration background in Microsoft Azure hosted environments.
  • Must have experience supporting C4 operational environments (SAP Experience preferred).
  • Experience managing customer relationships.
  • Ability to self-manage for maintenance of workloads and ensuring appropriate support of all systems/applications/workloads existing within the enclave (operational boundary).
  • Experience within the following operational roles:
  • Direct Platform Support (Windows Workstation/Server).
  • Active Directory Organization and Management (OU and GPO Management).
  • Systems Management Technologies (MECM, etc.).
  • Azure Solutions Management (IaaS, PaaS, and Virtual Network Components).
  • AVD Component Support (Pools, Workspace, Application Management).
  • Azure solutions deployment.
  • DOD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification upon start, with at least a Security+ certificate.

Desired

  • Experience supporting SAP environments.
  • Experience supporting DevOps environments with SAFe knowledge of operational sprint cadence.
  • Azure Administrator certification.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment.

  • Normal office environment.

Travel

  • Must be willing to travel 0-25% of the time.
