Job DescriptionInova Loudoun Hospital Retail Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Intern to join the team. This role will be PRN various shifts (weekends & holidays & some weekdays).

Pharmacy Intern Job Responsibilities:Under the Pharmacist supervision:
- Performs all aspects of medication distribution.
- Manages medication inventory.
- Maintains Automated Dispensing Machine.
- Performs monthly pharmacy inspections per policies/procedures.
- Participates in patient care.
- Participates in department quality improvements projects.
- Developing skills and knowledge base necessary to practice as a pharmacist.
Minimum Qualifications:- Education: High School or GED and enrolled in Pharmacy School.
- Licensure: State of Virginia Pharmacy Technician license or a Pharmacy Intern license.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire.
