CAO's AI Strategy manager is seeking an entrepreneurial full stack developer intern with excellent communication skills to help develop proof-of-concepts of new GenAI solutions to support a variety of internal and customer threat intelligence workflows. This is a 12-week internship.
The AI Strategy (AIS) initiative's mission is to leverage GenAI's rapidly growing capabilities in order to resolve pain points and deliver valuable outcomes to CrowdStrike's internal employees and customers. The goal of the initiative is to develop solutions "from 0 to 1" before passing them over to product engineering teams for productization.
The intern would be assigned to a series of related assignments as part of a larger intern project that will require them to 1) research use cases in multiple threat intelligence domains, 2) work directly with subject matter experts to identify their pain points and desired outcomes, 3) engage in limited development of specific tools (proof-of-concepts) that can help accomplish end user goals, and 4) work with product engineers to support the productization of developed tools. The intern will have the rare opportunity to work collaboratively with the department's seasoned engineers and subject matter experts under the supervision of CAO's AI Strategy manager.
We are ideally looking for a seasoned developer with prior experience in developing tools for subject matter experts.
What You'll Do:
  • Develop proof-of-concept GenAI solutions for internal workflows where employees desire automation
  • Collaborate directly with internal stakeholders, including subject matter experts, engineers, and data scientists during development
  • Communicate technical capabilities and solutions to subject matter experts, as well as how they can support their specific workflows
  • Report directly to AI Strategy manager on progress across projects and research

What You'll Need:
  • University degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or related field; or alternatively years of hands-on experience in the field.
