Job description

The Products Application Developer is responsible for assisting customers with technical issues or questions related to the application. The Products Application Developer will have a deep understanding of the application, will help customers understand how to use the application and will troubleshoot, resolve, and respond to customer support requests. They must have strong communication and problem-solving skills and cultivate business relationships based on trust and professionalism. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous situations, takes ownership of complex problems with limited initial information, and demonstrates resourcefulness in finding solutions through research, experimentation, and logical reasoning.


Primary Responsibilities:
Handles support incidents via support portal, phone and email.
Performs technical troubleshooting through backend systems using SQL queries and C# code analysis.
Deploys applications at new customer sites.
Upgrades existing customers to latest releases.
Provides quality checks and tests application installation and configuration.
Prioritizes workload to ensure most critical issues are resolved first.
Independently investigates and diagnoses customer issues using available resources including logs, database queries, and code analysis.
Recreates and troubleshoots simple to complex customer issues.
Submits bugs to software developers via support tickets.
Collaborates with product manager, application consultants and development team.
Provides code fixes and updates to resolve customer issues.
May provide training for new customers.
Will do development for customer enhancement requests.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
In addition to the following skills, the Products Application Developer is expected to be a key contributor to the improvement of the application by providing feedback to the Product Team.
Experience working within Infor SyteLine/CloudSuite Industrial and Mongoose, Including IDOs and Form Development
Excellent analytical, multi-tasking, problem-solving and documentation skills.
Strong Proficiency of VB.NET, SQL and C Sharp (C#).
Knowledge of Git.
Knowledge of SSRS and or Form Reports development.
Strong debugging and investigative skills - able to form hypotheses, test assumptions, and iterate toward solutions.
Critical thinking skills to evaluate multiple solution paths and make sound technical decisions.
ERP software implementation and/or support experience.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) plus Microsoft Visio.
Must be deadline and detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Demonstration of concise, well-organized, and personable communications.
