About the Role

G2s Buy-Side team seek to become trusted advisors and long-term partners in growing our clients businesses through strategic M&A initiatives. G2s approach to buy-side advisory is strategic, tailored, flexible, and results-driven. We're building out our team to meet the demands of rapid company growth and market demand. Workplace Model: At the time of this posting, G2 currently operates in a hybrid model with 4 days required in the office. These in-office requirements may be adjusted based on the needs of the business.


What You'll Do

  • Work as a part of a deal team to engage with new prospects (acquisition targets) for an already established book of clients
  • Conduct high volume calling to engage and establish relationships with C-level executives and business owners
  • Organize creative prospecting activities that generate new acquisition opportunities
  • Engage with business owners and discuss the options available to them including M&A
  • Build and maintain long term relationships with key stakeholders at target companies
  • Manage the full M&A process with clients from initial outreach to completion of an acquisition
  • Track and record metrics throughout the process utilizing internal CRM
  • Meet and exceed business development goals individually and as a team
  • Keep current and updated on trends impacting G2s industry sectors
  • Manage high-stakes deadlines with grace and poise, delivering top-quality work when it matters most
  • Provide timely, concise updates to internal teams and clients, ensuring alignment and smooth coordination on every deal
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, staying proactive and organized to meet deadlines and keep every engagement on track

What We Look For

  • 3-4 years of experience in a business development environment
  • Experience selling and closing corporate deals

This role offers uncapped total compensation, with typical earnings of approximately $220,000+, depending on business development and execution performance. The annual base salary for this position is $90,000, and bonuses are paid upon transaction closing or throughout the year as revenue is collected.
