Job Title: Experienced ICE Encompass Developer (5–10 Years)

About Button Finance

The Role

We are seeking an experienced ICE Encompass Developer with 5–10 years of hands-on development experience across the Encompass ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a full-stack engineer capable of designing, building, and optimizing custom Encompass solutions using ICE Developer Connect APIs, Encompass SDK, advanced scripting, and modern web and AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom Encompass features using SDK, ICE Developer Connect, custom input forms, business rules, and automation frameworks.
  • Optimization: Build and optimize scripts (JavaScript, VBScript, Python or equivalent) to streamline workflows, validate data, and reduce manual processing.
  • Innovation: Integrate AI tools and modern technologies to enhance loan processing capabilities.
  • Full-Stack Development: Develop internal tools, microservices, and UI components using modern frameworks such as React, Node.js, and .NET Core.
  • Integration: Architect and maintain integrations with LOS, CRM, pricing engines, AUS, document providers, and internal systems.
  • Strategy: Analyze operational workflows and implement scalable automation to improve cycle times and data quality.
  • Leadership: Provide architectural guidance, code reviews, and best practices for Encompass development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with compliance, secondary, operations, and product teams to ensure solutions meet all regulatory and business requirements.
  • Ownership: Own the full lifecycle of testing, deployment, and documentation for all Encompass enhancements and integrations.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of professional experience in Encompass development (SDK, ICE Developer Connect, custom forms, business rules).
  • Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, VBScript, Python, or similar languages.
  • Proven experience building full-stack applications using React/Angular and Node.js/.NET.
  • Deep understanding of mortgage operations, loan workflow, and compliance-driven automation.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and event-driven architecture.
  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and architectural design skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, clean technical solutions.

Compensation

  • $175,000 – $225,000 per year
