Pay: $15.00/hour

Schedule Available: 6a-2p Monday through Friday, Occasional Saturdays

Line: Pop Out


As a Packer you will be responsible to:

  • Keep up with rate and pack product into boxes
  • Visually inspect the product for any defects
  • Carefully monitor the consistency and weight of the butter to make sure it is within range
  • Properly assemble boxes and place appropriate bags
  • Properly enter information to create labels and print them
  • Hourly metal detector checks
  • Gather butter samples for QA testing
  • Work at a fast pace and multi-task
  • Properly create skid pattern and stack boxes based on product specification
  • Properly use a tape-gun to close boxes or properly use a tape machine
  • Visualize and verify the correct date, lot code, and label is reflecting on the product being run
  • Ability to enter downtime or any line/product issues into RedZone using a tablet
  • Transport finished product to the freezer and wrap finished skids
  • Maintain a clean area throughout the shift and after the run is complete help the team clean up the area
  • You may be asked to float to other product lines as needed based on production needs
  • Additional tasks as requested

We believe a successful Packer will have the following qualifications:

  • Good eye-hand coordination
  • Ability to read and understand standard work instructions
  • Ability to work at a consistent, fast pace for extended periods of time
  • Ability to keep up with a fast pace production line
  • Be flexible with their work schedule to accommodate high work volume
  • General math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Ability to adhere to GMP policies and maintain quality standards of the product
  • A stable job history
  • Previous Food Manufacturing experience is a plus!
