Pay Rate: $22 - $28 per hour
Position Description:
We are seeking a Business Support Specialist II to join a fast-paced operations team supporting critical business processes, member account services, and enterprise systems. This role is ideal for professionals with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who enjoy investigating complex issues, improving operational processes, and collaborating across multiple business units.
The successful candidate will research and resolve escalated account and system-related issues, support software testing and implementation efforts, and help drive continuous process improvements while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
This opportunity is well-suited for candidates with experience in business operations, financial services, banking operations, business support, process improvement, systems analysis, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Research, analyze, and resolve escalated issues involving member accounts, loans, General Ledger accounts, and business systems.
  • Investigate complex operational discrepancies and identify effective solutions while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve system, application, and operational issues.
  • Support software testing, system enhancements, upgrades, and implementation activities to ensure successful deployments.
  • Validate that systems, processes, and enhancements meet regulatory, compliance, and business requirements.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend operational improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives involving new systems, products, services, and business processes.
  • Perform detailed research and data analysis to support operational decision-making.
  • Recommend corrective actions for identified discrepancies and monitor resolution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Perform additional business support and operational responsibilities as needed.

Required Skills/Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).
  • Experience supporting business operations, financial services, banking operations, or a similar environment.
  • Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills with the ability to resolve complex operational issues.
  • Experience investigating account discrepancies, operational exceptions, or system-related issues.
  • Ability to interpret policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and operational guidelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound business decisions using good judgment.
  • Experience working with multiple business applications and adapting quickly to new technologies.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting financial institution or banking operations.

  • Background in operational process improvement, workflow optimization, or business process analysis.
  • Familiarity with enterprise business systems and operational support environments.
