They are typically founded by entrepreneurs to develop a unique product or service and bring it to market, often with the goal of rapid growth and scalability. Many startups begin as small teams working to validate their business idea before seeking larger investments.

Job description

Field Marketing Lead, B2B

Location: New York, NY

Level: Manager

Reports To: Head of Growth, B2B

Salary Range: $160k - $190k

About Manifest

Manifest OS is an AI-native company on a mission to replace the billable hour and make legal services more accessible for American businesses and consumers. We power the next generation of AI-native law firms with one unified global brand, a proprietary technology platform, and a centralized back office — enabling lawyers to eliminate the administrative burden and focus on delivering exceptional outcomes for their clients. Manifest OS has raised a $60M Series A from Menlo Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, First Round, and Quiet Capital.

About The Team

B2B Growth Team is responsible for sourcing SMB pipeline and building ABM-style relationships with upmarket accounts. We're a tight-knit team with a close relationship with Sales, and have driven incredible momentum behind us since our launch earlier this year.

What We're Looking For
  • 5–8+ years in event marketing or field marketing with heavy, end-to-end event ownership — ideally at a B2B startup selling to HR, People, legal, or finance buyers.
  • A track record of events that booked meetings and sourced pipeline, with the numbers to prove it — and the judgment to also run brand/strategic events without forcing a pipeline metric onto everything.
  • Experience across all three lanes: tradeshow sponsorships, partner/co-marketing events, and intimate owned executive formats. Getting the right 15 people in a room is harder than filling a booth, and you can do both.
  • Strong sales partnership instincts — you treat AEs and the GM as your customers for every pipeline event.
  • End-to-end ownership: you've negotiated sponsorship contracts, built invite lists in a CRM, written follow-up copy, managed partners, and run programs on-site — sometimes in the same week.
What You'll Do

To start, you'll own events strategy and execution end to end as our first dedicated hire for the B2B business, driving programs across three lanes: trade shows and industry conferences, partnership and co-marketing events, and Manifest co-hosted events. Today, events run on borrowed capacity from a lean team, and your role is to build events into a deliberate, measurable program with repeatable process. This role offers the rare opportunity to build an events function from the ground up at a fast-scaling company, with the autonomy to shape strategy and the resources to execute at the highest level. You'll have direct impact on both pipeline generation and brand positioning, working closely with leadership to establish Manifest as the definitive voice in corporate immigration.

This For You If
  • You love designing the right experiences for the right ICPs to meet pipeline and relationship goals, across multiple different segments.
  • You love meeting new people and can evangelize Manifest's mission to provide better legal services.
  • You are excited about strategy — prioritizing the right events and execution to meet business goals.
  • You are passionate about building things for scale, from 0 to 1.
Not For You If
  • You want someone to hand down a list of events to execute.
  • You don't thrive in ambiguity, or you don't have a framework to prioritize.
  • You don't have highly effective cross-functional communication skills to orchestrate events from sourcing to follow-up to tracking ROI.
