About the job

In your role as Partner Business Planning Associate, you will be driving identified projects, tracking metrics, and improving processes. You will be responsible for increasing our partner team's effectiveness through project coordination and support on key initiatives such as partner joint business planning, industry solution development, quarterly business reviews, as well as provide support across the partner management life-cycle. You will work with a range of stakeholders including the dedicated global Partner Development Managers, Partner Program Managers, and the Sales Operations teams at Google as well as with key Accenture stakeholders to ensure the successful design, implementation and change management associated with any agreed project/process. You must be comfortable becoming an expert at the Google Cloud partner business as well as comfortable working with individuals at all levels of the organization, from senior managers to functional executors.

Responsibilities

  • Drive identified projects and initiatives to completion and deliver desired impact.

  • Identify and track metrics across identified projects.

  • Take ownership of legal contracts on an end-to-end basis.

  • Oversee the financials and budgets of the entire project and bring attention to any expected variances.

  • Create, track and hold the team accountable for follow up actions to ensure timely completion of key projects and initiatives (e.g., industry solution development).

  • Create executive review slides and collaborate with Accenture to complete top to top review content on a monthly basis.

  • Own internal and external communications by drafting and creating content to share with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Take full ownership of strategic initiatives and communications for all project requirements.

  • Track and manage projects of global enablement programs with Accenture.

  • Understand business operations and business needs.

  • Optimize introduction of new processes and resolution of technical/process issues.

  • Maintain, extract and present executive and operational metrics from dashboards to stakeholders.

  • Coordinate and manage implementation of new processes and activities across the partner management team

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or Communications; or equivalent work experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize & manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Strong sense of responsibility.

  • Ability to quickly adapt to change and deal with ambiguity.

  • 3+ years of prior experience in a support environment/analyst environment.

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and data analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of SQL and other data extraction and analytical techniques.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce.

  • Experience in process engineering/improvement. Six sigma certification is a plus.

  • Experience with contracts and the process for establishing contracts between two parties.

  • Experience with the procurement process, to include establishing purchase orders, invoicing, and reconciling payment related inquiries.
