Manager, North America Business Planning and Strategy

Description -

Job Summary
This role leads strategic and business planning for the US Public Sector and Canada businesses, translating growth priorities into actionable plans, performance insights, and operating rhythms that improve execution and business results. The role partners closely across leadership, finance, sales, category, and operations teams to drive planning rigor, support decision-making, and strengthen business performance. A key dimension of the role is enabling the Business Planning agenda through forecasting, quota deployment, rep performance management, business reviews, and analytical support that helps leaders manage performance, identify risks and opportunities, and accelerate execution. The role oversees individual contributors responsible for business planning deliverables, performance analysis, and the alignment of strategic priorities to operational outcomes.
Responsibilities
Leads strategic and business planning activities for the US Public Sector and Canada businesses, ensuring alignment to growth priorities, financial objectives, and operational goals.
Develops and drives business planning frameworks, performance cadences, and operating reviews that provide leaders with clear visibility to business health, risks, and opportunities.
Partners across leadership, finance, sales, category, and operations teams to translate strategy into actionable plans, measurable targets, and execution priorities.
Owns or enables core Business Planning processes, including forecasting, quota deployment, performance management, and ongoing performance analysis to support field effectiveness and business outcomes.
Delivers business reviews and executive-ready insights that inform decisions, improve accountability, and guide corrective actions where needed.
Identifies performance gaps and improvement opportunities through data-driven analysis and recommends actions to improve execution, productivity, and growth.
Builds and enhances analytical tools, reporting, and planning processes that improve decision support, planning accuracy, and operational rigor.
Leads cross-functional initiatives and high-priority projects that advance strategic objectives, improve planning effectiveness, and support business transformation.
Provides leadership and direction to individual contributors, establishing clear goals, strengthening team capability, and ensuring high-quality delivery of planning and analytical outputs.
Acts as a change leader by promoting disciplined planning, performance management, and continuous improvement across the supported businesses.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in strategic management, strategic planning and implementation, consulting, market research, or a related field.

Salary

The pay range for this role is $154,400 to $227,750 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
