Our Opportunity
Chewy is on a mission to become the most trusted and convenient destination for pet parents (and partners) everywhere. To fulfill that mission, we are seeking a Sr. Human Resources Business Partner. In this role, you will collaborate with aligned HR client groups and leaders to drive performance, talent management initiatives, and provide teams with strategic and tactical HR support. You will implement new talent programs and help build an HR team that will scale with Chewy as it grows. We are looking for someone committed to forging strong partnerships, continually improving our processes, and strengthening our team!
What You'll Do
  • Provide management coaching and implement Chewy's leadership development strategy
  • Provide advice and input on organizational design, role design, workforce planning, and leadership planning
  • Manage day-to-day HR activities: performance management, employee relations, corporate policies/programs/procedures, organizational change, incident management, etc.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and HR centers of excellence to build, continuously improve, and drive talent initiatives, and resolve concerns
  • Review data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience

What You'll Need
  • 5+ years of dynamic HR Business Partner experience in fast-paced, high-rate-of-change environments
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a relevant field
  • HR certifications are a plus
  • Demonstrable ability to influence and motivate change with leaders across agile organizations, aligning the people strategy with business goals and growth
  • Proven success in delivering high-impact people operations programs around performance management, culture, team member engagement, and retention
