Salary: $100,000-$140,000

Project Manager Heavy Civil Construction

Location: Vermont (Onsite with Regional Travel)
Salary: $100,000$140,000 + Performance Bonus


Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead heavy civil construction and infrastructure projects throughout the Northeast. This individual will oversee projects from planning through closeout, ensuring successful delivery while managing schedules, budgets, field operations, subcontractors, and client relationships.Projects typically range from $2M$10M+ and include wastewater facilities, dam rehabilitation, excavation, process piping, and other civil infrastructure work.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Oversee 34 projects simultaneously
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, owners, engineers, and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues
  • Lead project meetings and provide status updates
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
  • Manage contract administration, change orders, and project documentation


Required Skills:

  • 35 years of Project Management experience in heavy civil construction, wastewater, excavation, process piping, or related infrastructure projects OR 57 years of Project Management experience in a related construction industry with transferable experience
  • Experience managing projects valued at $2M+ from start to finish
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Understanding of surveying and field layout processes
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and stakeholder relationships
