In this role, you will:
Transition Planning & Execution:
- Lead the transition from integration-focused delivery to long-term steady-state operations.
- Develop and execute transition plans that define timelines, milestones, and ownership across teams.
- Define and implement support processes, escalation paths, and service level agreements (SLAs) for BAU operations.
- Coordinate readiness reviews to ensure operations teams are fully prepared for ownership.
Knowledge Transfer & Documentation:
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of systems, workflows, support models, and dependencies.
- Drive structured knowledge transfer sessions between integration, ITSM, and operational teams.
- Validate that documentation meets IT governance and audit standards before transition completion.
Governance & Performance Monitoring
- Establish governance frameworks to monitor post-transition performance, service quality, and compliance.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to measure stability and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate regular transition review meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably in post-merger integration or transition management.
- Strong understanding of ITIL/IT Service Management principles.
- Proven success leading cross-functional teams through transition or stabilization phases.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills. PMP or ITIL certification strongly preferred.
- Must be able to be on-site in downtown Chicago for a few days each month
