Job description

PD02: Business Operations and Program Management Support Analyst – Mid 


Description: This analyst actively participates in the program management lifecycle, taking responsibility for monitoring key aspects of program execution against established plans. The role involves managing program schedules, preparing documentation for formal reviews, and ensuring that program activities, costs, and risks are tracked and reported accurately to support the government Program Manager. 

Duties May Include: 

  • Actively monitoring program cost, schedule, performance, and risk throughout the program lifecycle, identifying and flagging potential issues. 
  • Developing, managing, and maintaining the program's Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), reporting on progress against baselines. 
  • Preparing and supporting the development of  acquisition documentation, including Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWS), market research, and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs). 
  • Participating in and documenting key program meetings, such as sprint planning, technical exchange meetings, and Program Management Reviews (PMRs). 
  • Providing independent review and analysis of contractor deliverables to ensure they meet the requirements outlined in the SOW. 

Required Skills: 

  • Demonstrated experience in Program Management, specifically monitoring and reporting on cost, schedule, performance, and risk. 
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting the acquisition lifecycle, including the development of key acquisition documents. 

 

Desired Skills: 

  • Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence). 
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and ceremonies. 
  • Experience with Total Lifecycle Acquisition Management and the principles of Earned Value Management (EVM).
