Your Role:

In this role you will perform a wide range of purchasing, business administration, campus events and employee engagement activities. This role follows a hybrid work model that supports a blend of in-office and remote work, with candidates working in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports while fostering accountability, professional growth, and a positive, service-oriented team culture.
  • Balance daily operational needs with long-term goals through effective delegation, prioritization, and clear direction amid changing priorities.
  • Provide constructive feedback, establish expectations, and resolve operational issues to support team success.
  • Manage purchasing operations-including purchase orders, contract coordination, invoice receipts, and expense reports-using SAP/Ariba and Concur.
  • Serve as the primary purchasing contact for Site Operations and Research Units, supporting RFQ/RFP processes, quote reviews, and vendor issue resolution.
  • Coordinate campus events, large-scale meetings, and leadership programs from planning through post-event evaluation, including vendor setup and attendance tracking.
  • Draft campus-wide messaging and represent Site Operations on cross-functional committees to ensure operational alignment across stakeholders.
  • Monitor event budgets for fiscal compliance while supporting employee recognition programs and site initiatives that strengthen campus culture.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other Business discipline.
  • 6+ years of experience in procurement, event coordination, and/or business administration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively relate with diverse stakeholders including senior leadership, scientists, and colleagues across the campus.
  • Familiarity and experience with Ariba, SAP, and Concur.
  • Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing individuals and teams.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

Pay Range for this position: $103,100 - $154,700 / year

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
