Staffmark Workforce Solutions offers this exciting contract opportunity at a global leader in electronics, mobile devices, and appliances located in Plano, TX.

Schedule: Fully on-site, Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (hours may vary)

Summary:

The main function of a business operations specialist is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics, and budget. The business operations specialist usually reports to a project manager or director.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed quotations using templates and pricing structures.
  • Analyze customer requirements and specifications to determine products and pricing.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to gather necessary information for Quote preparation.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, macros) to perform complex calculations and analyze data.
  • Create and update opportunities, products, price books, and quotes within Salesforce.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across all quoted materials.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding quote status updates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business management, finance, accounting, or other relevant field.
  • Proven experience working with Microsoft Excel at an expert level; proficiency in VBA programming preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce features, including opportunity management, product catalogs, and quote generation tools.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputs.
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications:
