Job description

Position Summary:

The Operations Assistant supports the daily operations of the office by providing administrative, customer service, and delivery coordination support. This position works closely with the Operations Manager to ensure efficient office processes, accurate documentation, effective communication with customers and drivers, and smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, data entry, filing, and general office tasks.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules, routing, dispatch, and prepare delivery paperwork.
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery scheduling, status updates, and service inquiries.
  • Monitor office email and respond to or direct customer and vendor communications.
  • Assist with invoice processing, inventory tracking, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Support recruiting and onboarding activities, including scheduling interviews and tracking employee paperwork.
  • Assist with vehicle and facility maintenance coordination and parts inventory.
  • Prepare reports, meeting materials, and other documentation as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business operations.
