Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
  • Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Client Associate responsibilities with an emphasis on financial strategy and analytics
  • Independently executes core financial and analytical tasks in support of client renewals and ongoing service
  • Supports Financial Strategists with complex financial and claims analysis
  • Performs stop-loss modeling and supports stop-loss marketing efforts
  • Produces contribution modeling and renewal financial analysis
  • Develops and maintains self-funded claims reporting and utilization reports
  • Prepares financial exhibits and analysis for renewal and marketing presentations

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS include but are not limited to:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Active Life & Health Insurance License
  • Skills:
    • Basic financial modeling and analytical skills
    • Understanding of self-funded and level-funded benefit plans
    • Knowledge of funding models and carrier dynamics
    • Proficiency with Excel and benefits-related analytical tools
