Position Overview

We areseekinga dynamic and technically adept Business Intelligence Manager to leadAccordant'sBusiness Intelligence Practice within our Managed Services organization.

The Business Intelligence Practice designs, develops, and delivers financial and operational reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision-making for clients and internal stakeholders.

The Business Intelligence Manager will oversee a team of Business Intelligence Consultants and Business Intelligence Developers, ensuring thetimelydelivery ofaccurate, actionable reporting and analytics solutions across multiple ERP platforms, including Sage Intacct, Sage 300 CRE, and Acumatica. This individual will balance hands-on technical leadership with strong people and project management, ensuring excellence in both solution delivery and client experience.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and detail-oriented, capable of designing and implementing high-impact reporting and analytics solutions while mentoring a growing team andmaintaining deep partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Intelligence Consultants and Business Intelligence Developers.
  • Establish priorities,allocateresources, and ensure on-time completion of client and internal initiatives.
  • Implement andmonitorstandards for reporting quality, testing, documentation, and version control.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, career development, and performance management activities within the Business Intelligence Practice.
  • Create clear career pathways and professional development opportunities for team members.

Business Intelligence & Solution Leadership

  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of financial and operational reporting solutionsutilizing:
    • Sage Intacct (Financial Report Writer, ICRW, Custom Report Wizard, Dashboards)
    • Sage 300 CRE (Crystal Reports, Office Connector)
    • Acumatica Reporting Tools
    • Power BI Embedded
    • Power BI TMDL
  • Establish reporting architecture standards, semantic modeling practices, and dashboard governance.
  • Lead development of scalable reporting frameworks and reusable analytics solutions across multiple ERP platforms.
  • Drive innovation through automation, data visualization best practices, self-service analytics, and AI-enabled reporting capabilities.
  • Ensure reporting outputs align with clientobjectives, compliance requirements, and operational reporting needs.
  • Lead Power BI administration activities including governance, deployment standards, security, capacity management, and performance optimization.
  • Promoteadoptionof modern Business Intelligence methodologies and technologies.


Client & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Serve as the primary leader for Business Intelligence services across client engagements.
  • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to define reporting requirements, analytics priorities, and strategicobjectives.
  • Collaborate closely with Accounting, Finance, Operations, Client Success, and Sales leaders to align Business Intelligence solutions with organizational goals.
  • Provideconsultative guidance on KPI development, dashboard design, analytics strategy, and reporting best practices.
  • Support ERP implementations and upgrades by ensuring reporting requirements areidentified, designed, tested, and successfully deployed.
  • Maintain exceptional client service through proactive communication and trusted partnership.


Operational & Strategic Leadership

  • Define and monitor KPIs related to solution quality, user adoption, client satisfaction, and team performance.
  • Partner with Managed Services leadership and Product Management toestablishBusiness Intelligence service strategy and roadmap priorities.
  • Identifyopportunities to standardize and streamline analytics delivery through automation, templates, governance standards, and reusable assets.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase scalability, efficiency, and client value.
  • Contribute to the long-term growth and maturity ofAccordant'sBusiness Intelligence Practice.


Qualifications

Required

  • 5-7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, financial reporting, or related disciplines.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing reporting, analytics, or Business Intelligence professionals.
  • Proven experience with Sage Intacct, Sage 300 CRE, Acumatica, or comparable ERP platforms.
  • Advancedproficiencywith SQL, Power BI, Crystal Reports, and modern Business Intelligence technologies.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into impactful reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Strong client-facing consulting and stakeholder management experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent projects.
  • Ability to work effectively within a remote environment.
