Job description

  • Define and build custom reports for business needs
  • Work with FIN, HCM, SCM, HR teams and implementation partners to define functional reporting requirements and toolsets
  • Define and build custom OTBI and XML reports with Oracle HCM/SCM/FIN Cloud
  • Create BI Publisher reports where requirements cannot be met through OOTB, OTBI, or OTBI-Enterprise
  • Manage a team of Business Analysts and BI Specialists
  • Create dashboards and infolets to improve the end-user reporting experience
  • Guide end-user training documentation
  • Support unit testing and user acceptance testing for Oracle HCM reporting, including identifying and fixing bugs
  • Identify requirements for data held in the BICs data warehouse
  • Develop understanding of business processes, data sets, clinical operations, enterprise data architecture, data platforms, and data operations
  • Collaborate with vendors to gather scopes of work and technical specifications for extracts
  • Add access for approved users to existing Power BI reports
  • Ensure delivered data supports line-of-business requirements
  • Support change management standards for data needs and approvals
  • Source data from approved sources for business intelligence initiatives
  • Provide ongoing support for reports, visual analytics, and limited data model development
  • Coordinate with the Director of Organization Effectiveness and Productivity and Business Intelligence Developers team
  • Gather data needs from executives, site leaders, service line leaders, and team members
  • Troubleshoot end-user problems and questions
  • Collaborate with the BID Manager and Director to prioritize and assign urgent requests
  • Maintain punctuality and attendance and exercise discretion and judgment
  • Protect data as a secure asset by limiting access to authorized users
Requirements
  • Minimum of HS Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience working as a Reporting Developer using Oracle based technologies
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience Architect Reporting & Analytics solutions for Oracle ERP cloud
  • Minimum 1-3 years of Oracle cloud data model knowledge in HCM, finance, and supply chain
  • Minimum 1-2 year of experience in BI Publisher, OTBI, OAC, and Oracle ADW
  • Minimum 1-3 years expertise in building Analytics solutions like Tableau or PowerBI
  • Expertise in SQL/PLSQL
  • Fusio Knowledge/experience
  • Experience running workshops to gather reporting requirements
  • Capable of creating complex BI Publisher data models (SQL) and the creation/amendment of BI Publisher templates
  • Expert user of OBTI & BI Publisher
  • Capable of design BICs data/schema design
  • Understanding and experience of advanced reporting functionality such as bursting and scheduled reports
  • Experience creating role specific dashboards and Infolets in Oracle HCM/SCM/FIN
  • Detailed understanding of the Fusion / HCM Cloud security model and its application for reporting purposes
  • Functional experience of Oracle ERP modules
  • Experience of XML & Java preferred
  • Oracle Certified/ Oracle Training/ Oracle reporting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's in Comp Sci, MIS or other technical degrees highly preferred
