Job Description - Quality Engineer
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to create, buildout, and implement a quality system. The Ideal candidate will have the skillset and experience to design quality procedures and documents from the ground up, lead root cause analysis investigations, andTo be successful the candidate will be able and willing to collaborate across the business with a variety of teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop Quality Documentation for manufacturing processes
  • Identify and develop Quality KPI's and methods for tracking QA related items
  • Define and execute test plans and assist with SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) for new equipment
  • Develop validation process and procedures for equipment quality verification and start-up ,including PFMEA control plans
  • Assist to define role, responsibilities, and workflows, for quality technicians
  • Lead root cause analysis for manufacturing defects and affected product containment to cease outflow
  • Build out defect acceptance plan to limit material lost cost
  • Participate in plant startup activities

Required Qualifications:
  • SMT production experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field.
  • 3+ years experience in QA, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering.
  • Hands on experience with Root Cause Analysis methods.
  • Strong Problem solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross functionally and provide input and support to multiple variable projects and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Automated test Equipment, and Equipment Calibration
