Summary
The Senior BI Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing complex datasets, developing actionable insights, and creating impactful visualizations to support operational and strategic decision-making across the organization. This position will bridge the gap between data query and actionable analytics, providing valuable support to clinical, operational, and financial teams, as well as future process improvement initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Visualization
  • Analyze clinical, financial, and operational data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify the underlying reasons for trends or anomalies in the data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Build interactive and user-friendly dashboards, visualizations, and reports that provide clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure dashboards are tailored to end-user needs, providing accurate and timely updates to support organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with BI Developers to validate the integrity of underlying data sources and identify areas for improvement in data quality.
  • Build interactive and user-friendly dashboards, visualizations, and reports that provide clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure dashboards are tailored to end-user needs, providing accurate and timely updates to support organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with BI Developers to validate the integrity of underlying data sources and identify areas for improvement in data quality.
Process Improvement Support
  • Work closely with clinical, financial, and operational leaders to understand their analytical needs and align data solutions to support key priorities.
  • Present complex data findings through compelling storytelling techniques, using charts, graphs, and narratives to clearly convey insights.
  • Serve as a liaison between the BI team and departments, ensuring a shared understanding of data requirements and outputs.
  • Educate stakeholders on data insights and promote a culture of data-driven decision making across the organization.
  • Train stakeholders on how to interpret and utilize dashboards, reports, and analytics tools effectively to drive informed decision-making.
Collaboration and Communication
  • Work closely with clinical, financial, and operational leaders to understand their analytical needs and align data solutions to support key priorities.
  • Present complex data findings through compelling storytelling techniques, using charts, graphs, and narratives to clearly convey insights.
  • Serve as a liaison between the BI team and departments, ensuring a shared understanding of data requirements and outputs.

Technical Expertise
  • Automate data pipelines to streamline the extraction, transformation, and delivery of data for analysis and reporting.
  • Create and maintain self-service BI tools and platforms to empower end-users to access and analyze data independently.
  • Utilize SQL and other tools to perform advanced data extractions, cleaning, and analysis from multiple data sources (Clarity, Access, Axiom, etc.).
  • Develop and apply statistical models, forecasting techniques, and predictive analytics to deliver deeper insights into clinical and operational trends.
  • Perform regular data quality checks and validation to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Research and recommend new tools, processes, or technologies to improve the BI team’s analytical capabilities.
Project Management
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing requests based on organizational impact, stakeholder needs, and deadlines.
  • Develop project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring all analytics work meets quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively addressing challenges and communicating updates to relevant parties.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in delivering analytics-driven solutions that meet business requirements.

  • Familiarity with Axiom or similar financial reporting tools is a plus.
