Job Summary:

BI Analyst (Data-Focused)

Get Inspired by the Work You'll Do

  • Own the extraction, transformation, and validation of data from multiple sources to support business analysis and reporting
  • Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to power dashboards, reporting, and ad hoc analysis
  • Design and build scalable datasets and data models to support business domain.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to define data requirements and translate them into structured data solutions
  • Identify data quality issues, implement validation checks, and drive improvements in data integrity and reliability
  • Develop automated reporting and data pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key business drivers, and translate findings into actionable insights
  • Create and maintain documentation for data models, transformations, and reporting logic

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong SQL skills, including experience with complex joins, window functions, and query optimization
  • Experience working with large, relational datasets and building data models for analytics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or similar
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into data solutions
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (e.g., Databricks/Hive/Snowflake schemas)
  • Experience with Microsoft Access or similar tools is a plus
