Job Responsibilities: 
The Business Development Representative supports the growth of the organization by executing and optimizing sales processes within our customer relationship platforms. This role focuses on data entry accuracy, sales analytics, email prospecting, and driving prospect engagement to generate new business opportunities for the Business Development team. The BDR works closely with Marketing, Sales Operations, and regional leadership to support pipeline movement and help ensure a steady flow of qualified opportunities.

This Business Development Coordinator position can sit in Georgia or Florida. 

Essential Functions:
The job duties listed are typical examples of the work performed by positions in this job classification. Not all duties assigned to every position are included, nor is it expected that all positions will be assigned to every duty.

•    Create engagement with leads provided by the Marketing team.
•    Generate new opportunities for the Business Development team.
•    Research contact and property data for Pursuit and Target Accounts, with priority on vertical Pursuit efforts.
•    Identify the needs of opportunities in the passive pipeline and help transition them to the active pipeline.
•    Establish and maintain effective communication with prospects through email, phone, and virtual calls, utilizing approved sales tools.
•    Ensure optimal utilization, accuracy, and integrity of CRM platforms and associated data.
•    Execute the company’s sales methodology in all lead interactions.
•    Develop communication templates and email sequences to support efficient outreach.
•    Use business intelligence tools to provide insights to Sales Operations, RVPs of Sales, and the Business Development team.
•    Identify common challenges or patterns and regularly collaborate with Marketing, Sales Ops, and Business Development partners.
•    Communicate using brand-consistent messaging while following approved sales methodology.
•    Overcome lead objections by asking appropriate questions and sharing valuable insights with the Business Development team.

Education 
•    Bachelor’s degree required. Relevant majors may include Business, Marketing, Communications, or comparable fields.
•    1–3 years of corporate, business development, sales support, customer outreach, or related experience.
•    Experience working with CRM platforms and/or business intelligence tools is a plus.
•    Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel and Word.
•    Ability to learn and utilize CRM systems, business intelligence tools, and other sales technology.
