Job description

Business Development Executive

Role Summary

We're looking for an experienced recruitment industry professional who already has an established network of client relationships (a book of business) needing recruitment services. In this role, you own the client relationship and bring in the business; TalentBridgeX acts as your delivery engine, providing sourcing, recruiting, and operational support to fulfill your clients' hiring needs. This is ideal for someone who wants the autonomy of running their own client portfolio without having to build out a full back-office recruiting infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage existing client relationships to bring new recruitment business to TalentBridgeX, across GovCon and/or commercial sectors.
  • Partner closely with TalentBridgeX's internal recruiting team to translate client requirements into actionable job orders and ensure quality, timely delivery.
  • Negotiate fee structures, contracts, and terms with new clients in coordination with TalentBridgeX leadership.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of client opportunities and provide regular forecasts/updates on account status and revenue potential.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts (additional roles, departments, or service lines).
  • Schedule 3 new meetings for prospective clients with the leadership and meet assigned KPIs

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or RPO, with demonstrated client-facing or business development experience.
  • An existing, active network of client relationships with recurring or potential recruitment needs.
  • Strong understanding of the recruitment lifecycle and ability to translate client needs into clear requirements for a delivery team.
  • Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating cross-functionally with an internal recruiting bench.
  • Experience with Recruitment Sales is highly preferred.

What We Offer

  • Full recruiting delivery support so you can focus on client relationships, not candidate sourcing logistics.
  • Flexibility in employment structure (W2 or 1099) to suit your working style.
  • Competitive base salary and uncapped commission
