Job Description
The Affinity Market Group of TD Insurance is responsible to develop and manage ongoing business relationships with the various professional organizations, alumni associations and employer groups who endorse the Affinity products of TD Insurance to its members.

Depth & Scope:

  • Develop and execute AMG's business development and growth strategy to drive profitable growth, increase market penetration, and strengthen TD Insurance's position across affinity, strategic partnership, and emerging distribution channels.
  • Accountable for the retention, growth, and profitability of the AMG portfolio through strategies that enhance partner performance, customer acquisition, and long-term enterprise value.
  • Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and secure strategic partnership opportunities that contribute materially to AMG growth objectives while balancing strategic fit, risk, and profitability.
  • Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new partnerships, products, and growth initiatives, ensuring successful launch, adoption, & performance.
  • Lead sales enablement efforts including Strategic Proposals and BD support, partner & internal communications, marketing & partner engagement and sales capability training.
  • Provide executive leadership and oversight for the SBI B2C business, ensuring alignment with the growth strategy, customer acquisition objectives, distribution priorities, profitability targets, and long-term business performance.
  • Govern strategic marketing investments and acquisition initiatives to maximize customer growth, partner engagement, and return on investment.
  • Lead AMG participation in enterprise transformation, digital, and customer experience initiatives, ensuring partnership opportunities and business requirements are incorporated into future-state solutions.
  • Champion adoption of digital capabilities, AI-enabled processes, and innovative business development practices that improve growth, scalability, partner experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as AMG's executive lead for major strategic partnership negotiations and enterprise growth initiatives, representing the business with external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team through talent development, succession planning, coaching, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure the business development team has the capabilities, tools, processes, and performance disciplines required to consistently achieve growth objectives and deliver an industry-leading partner experience.

Education & Experience:

  • Graduate degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience
  • Understanding of TDI and TDBG enterprise operations, including the ability to navigate complex environments and drive organizational change.
  • Advanced analytical, strategic, and conceptual thinking skills, with a commercial and service-oriented mindset focused on continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated understanding of emerging digital and AI capabilities, with the ability to identify, evaluate, and apply technology-enabled opportunities that enhance business development effectiveness, partner experience, customer acquisition, and operational efficiency.
  • Proven experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, as well as strong financial and technology acumen.
