Job description

We are looking for a motivated, ambitious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team and help introduce our AI-powered healthcare platform to providers, healthcare organizations, and other industry stakeholders.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who is competitive, curious, coachable, and excited about technology and healthcare. You will work closely with the founders and sales leadership to identify prospective customers, start conversations with decisionmakers, qualify opportunities, and build the company's sales pipeline.

Because we're an early-stage company, you'll have the opportunity to take on significant ownership and learn how a healthcare AI company goes from early traction to a scalable sales organization.

What You'll Do

  • Research and identify high-value prospects across healthcare organizations
  • Build targeted prospect lists and develop account strategies
  • Conduct high-volume outbound outreach through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels
  • Engage healthcare executives and decisionmakers to understand their challenges and priorities
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and determine whether there is a strong potential fit
  • Schedule qualified meetings and product conversations for the sales team
  • Develop messaging and outreach strategies that clearly communicate the value of our AI platform
  • Track prospect activity, conversations, and pipeline accurately in our CRM
  • Follow up consistently with prospects throughout the sales development process
  • Partner closely with Account Executives, founders, and marketing to improve conversion rates
  • Learn the healthcare market, competitive landscape, and evolving AI ecosystem
  • Experiment with AI tools and new prospecting strategies to make outbound sales more efficient
  • Provide feedback from prospects to help shape our messaging, product, and go-to-market strategy

What We're Looking For

  • 0–2 years of professional experience, ideally in sales, business development, recruiting, customer success, or another client-facing environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated and comfortable working toward measurable goals
  • Naturally curious with the ability to ask thoughtful questions and listen effectively
  • Comfortable picking up the phone and speaking with senior-level prospects
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Coachable, resilient, and willing to learn from rejection
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small team
  • Genuine interest in AI, healthcare, and emerging technology
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required

What Will Make You Successful

You don't need to be an expert salesperson or healthcare professional when you start. We're looking for someone who:

  • Is hungry to learn and grow
  • Doesn't get discouraged by rejection
  • Takes ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do
  • Can communicate complex ideas simply
  • Is comfortable experimenting and trying new approaches
  • Cares about the customer rather than simply hitting an activity number
  • Wants to build a career in technology sales

What You'll Learn

This role will give you exposure to:

  • Enterprise and healthcare sales
  • AI and healthcare technology
  • Prospecting and outbound sales
  • Selling to executives and healthcare decisionmakers
  • Qualification and pipeline management
  • Account-based selling
  • SaaS sales methodologies
  • Go-to-market strategy at an early-stage startup
  • How AI products are evaluated, purchased, and deployed within healthcare organizations

Compensation & Growth

We offer a competitive compensation package consisting of base salary + performance-based variable compensation, along with the opportunity to grow rapidly as the company scales.

High-performing BDRs will have the opportunity to progress into Senior BDR, Account Executive, or other go-to-market roles as the organization grows.

Why Join Us?

You'll be joining at an exciting stage of the company's growth, where your work will have a direct impact on our ability to acquire customers and scale the business. Rather than being one small piece of a large sales organization, you'll work closely with company leadership, sales, product, and marketing and have a meaningful voice in how we build our go-to-market engine.

If you're looking for a role where you can learn quickly, earn based on performance, work with cutting-edge AI technology, and build a career in healthcare technology, we'd love to hear from you.
