Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to help grow our youth sports business by building relationships with youth sports organizations, leagues, clubs, coaches, teams, and program directors. This role will focus on identifying new partnership and business opportunities, generating leads, and developing long-term relationships within the youth sports community.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop relationships with youth sports leagues, clubs, teams, tournaments, coaches, and athletic organizations.

Prospect and generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, email, networking, events, referrals, and industry research.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective youth sports organizations and teams.

Conduct outreach and presentations to explain our programs, services, partnerships, and value proposition.

Develop strategic partnerships that increase participation, enrollment, revenue, and brand awareness.

Manage prospects throughout the acquisition cycle, from initial outreach through negotiation and closing.

Work with the team on transaction analysis and coordinate legal documentation and process.

Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, follow-ups, and acquisition activity in the dashboard.

Attend youth sports events, tournaments, showcases, and industry gatherings to develop relationships and identify opportunities.

Work closely with leadership, marketing, and operations teams to execute partnership and growth initiatives.

Consistently achieve or exceed assigned business development and revenue goals.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or account management; youth sports experience strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of the youth sports ecosystem and relationships with coaches, league directors, club owners, or sports organizations is a plus.

Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Highly motivated, self-directed, and comfortable with proactive outreach and cold prospecting.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prospects and opportunities simultaneously.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Experience using dashboards and acquisition tools preferred.

Willingness to travel locally and attend sporting events, tournaments, and industry functions as needed.

Success in This Role

Success will be measured by the ability to build a strong youth sports network, consistently generate qualified opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and convert relationships into measurable business growth and revenue.
