Job description

Position Summary...Help shape the future of connected TV at scale. As Senior Manager, Business Development for VIZIO OS, you’ll grow our third‑party app ecosystem by landing and expanding partnerships with leading media, tech, and gaming companies. You’ll own the full deal lifecycle—sourcing, valuation, negotiation, and execution—while driving measurable gains in platform adoption, engagement, and monetization. This is a high-visibility role for a strategic, hands-on dealmaker who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
The VIZIO OS Business Development team builds the partnerships and commercial strategy that power a high-quality app experience for millions of users. We operate cross-functionally with product, engineering, ad operations, and marketing to bring partners to market and ensure integrations deliver mutual value. This role is central to our growth—expanding the breadth and quality of apps on the platform, influencing the overall sales and partner strategy, and helping unlock new revenue streams that support Walmart and VIZIO’s long-term objectives. What you'll do...
  • Source, prioritize, and execute distribution partnerships that expand the VIZIO OS app catalog and improve core platform KPIs.
  • Structure, negotiate, and close complex agreements; manage exceptions and ensure partners deliver on contractual terms.
  • Lead senior executive relationships with key partners, aligning on joint strategy and long-term value creation.
  • Evaluate strategic and financial tradeoffs, remove execution barriers, and drive cross-functional alignment to launch deals.
  • Incubate and scale new lines of business end-to-end, from strategy through launch and performance management.

What you’ll bring:
  • Demonstrated experience in business development or account management in technology, entertainment, or similarly fast-moving sectors.
  • Proven experience negotiating and managing complex contracts (new deals, renewals, amendments) tied to revenue and/or technical initiatives.
  • Strong business and technical fluency; OTT/CTV, app distribution, platform partnerships, or MVPD experience preferred.
  • Executive presence with C-level stakeholder influence; strong written and verbal communication.
  • Analytical rigor (usage trends, marketing insights, revenue) and cross-functional leadership to deliver measurable outcomes.
