Business Development Manager
Location: Remote based in Virginia, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, or Pennsylvania (New England candidates considered)
Our client is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to identify new opportunities and grow sales across the Printed Circuit Board (Bare Board and Assembly), Electronics Manufacturing, Screen Printing, and General Metal Finishing industries. Responsibilities include:
- Sell company products and services with a strong focus on closing deals
- Grow new business through in-person visits and calls, including leading new opportunities for PCB Assembly
- Cold call prospects to generate new business
- Participate in marketing initiatives and trade shows
- Support product management and line card growth
- Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal customer service teams
- Manage a long sales cycle, including scheduling, setting up, and leading meetings to build long-term relationships
- Maintain and update CRM records for contacts, prospects, and pipeline
- Participate in bi-monthly sales meetings to report on results, pipeline, and activity
- Resolve customer technical questions and problems using available resources
- Travel up to 50%+ throughout the Eastern US
Requirements:
- 5+ years of sales (or similar customer facing role) experience with a distributor or manufacturer
- Industry experience in Printed Circuit Boards
- Strong technical skills
Preferences:
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
