The ON Events segment focuses on full-scale event production, partnering with clients from concept through execution to deliver high-impact, experience-driven events. The sales team plays a critical role in driving new business, developing client relationships, and positioning ON Services as a trusted production partner.


About the Role


ON Services is seeking a Business Development Manager to support the ON Events Sales team by driving new business opportunities within the live event production space. This role is responsible for identifying and developing client relationships, generating qualified opportunities, and building a strong pipeline that converts into revenue.


This position operates with a consultative, pre-sales approach, requiring the ability to qualify opportunities, lead discovery conversations, and align ON Servicesโ€™ production capabilities to deliver tailored solutions. The ideal candidate brings a sales hunter mindset, combining disciplined prospecting with structured pipeline management, strong discovery skills, and solution-oriented thinking.

Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with ON Events revenue goals
  • Identify and target new clients across corporate events, trade shows, and live production markets
  • Drive outbound prospecting efforts including calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities within the CRM
  • Lead structured discovery conversations to identify client goals, challenges, and event requirements
  • Qualify opportunities using a consistent framework to prioritize high-value prospects
  • Position ON Services solutions in a consultative manner aligned to client objectives and outcomes
  • Convert leads into revenue-generating opportunities through effective relationship management

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with sales leadership and production teams to develop tailored event solutions for clients
  • Collaborate with internal production and creative teams in a pre-sales capacity to shape solutions
  • Support proposal development by aligning scope, capabilities, and client expectations
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, industries, and high-value prospects
  • Present ON Services capabilities and value proposition to prospective clients

SUPPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, ideally within event production, AV, experiential marketing, or a solutions-based sales environment
  • Experience in a SaaS, technology, or consultative sales environment preferred
  • Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting and pipeline generation
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with CRM platforms and managing structured sales processes
