Job description

Join Brennan's team as a Business Development Manager and help drive growth across our marine construction and heavy civil infrastructure markets. This remote position offers flexibility to work from within the Greater New England area and requires travel up to 60% of the time for industry events, client meetings, and site visits. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong understanding of marine construction services, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to develop strategic partnerships that expand market presence and strengthen client relationships.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, engineers, general contractors, and industry partners within the marine construction and heavy civil infrastructure markets (bridges, ports, dams, waterfront structures, dredging, etc.).
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive networking, client outreach, and participation in industry events.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Project Controls, and Marketing teams to develop proposals, presentations, and targeted promotional materials aligned with marine construction services.
  • Manage client information and activity tracking in Brennan's CRM system to ensure visibility and alignment across business units.
  • Represent Brennan at trade shows, conferences, and association meetings to promote marine construction capabilities.
  • Champion the Brennan Client Experience by delivering exceptional service and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or Construction Management-or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, client relations, or project management within marine construction, heavy civil, infrastructure, or related markets.
  • Strong understanding of marine construction services such as marine foundations, pile driving, dredging, bridge construction, or waterfront infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across technical and operational teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% within the U.S.
